Canada is getting an online nightclub you can party at this weekend

Montreal's vibrant nightlife always finds a way and this weekend, you can get totally lit from the comfort of your home at the city's first virtual nightclub party.

Digital Nightclub Montreal is coming at you live this Saturday with local DJs spinning the hits at this exclusive virtual dance party.

"Are you stuck at home and don't know what to do?," reads the Facebook event page. "Montreal has never been so calm, it's time to change that. Roommates, couples or lone wolfs, all together to bring a little joy in this period of isolation.. but virtually."

Beginning at 9 p.m. on Saturday, March 28, people can log on and party together via webcam.

The virtual party looks to let residents have a little fun while the city continues to be in self-isolation to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

"Please DO NOT GATHER with your friends in the same apartment for this event, the goal is to have fun without physically gathering to avoid the spread of the virus," the event reads."

Organizers ask that you dress your best and help make for a party vibe with strobe, flash and fluorescent lights and festival costumes.

The DJs for the night are local beatmasters DJ CRK, DJ Jay Ramis, DJ Guillaume Michaud and DJ kärl k-otik.
