Family Feud Canada is coming back for season 2 and you can now apply to be on the show

Family Feud Canada is coming back for a second season and they're now taking applications and doing auditions.

You might remember the Canadian version of the long-running game show hosted by Gerry Dee for a contestant who went viral for guessing that Popeye's favourite food was chicken.

So if you've ever dreamed of making a fool of yourself in front of your whole family and the entire country in such a fashion, now is your chance! The show is accepting video applications this year as they can't do in-person casting.

To apply, you have to be a family of five where everyone is at least 18. But if you can't be together to film your audition video, don't fret: CBC is encouraging applicants to get creative with social-distancing style videos.

If you want a good chance of getting accepted, they recommend acting "quirky," "energetic" and "enthusiastic," showing off any kooky traditions you have as a family, and wearing coordinated outfits. Auditions are being conducted from May to August, and hopefully filming will begin in September.
