People are missing the apple cider at Tim Hortons and want it brought back

Tim Hortons' apple cider may have vanished more times than Houdini, but Canadians haven't given up hope that the menu item might become permanent.

The Canadian coffee franchise introduced apple cider as a seasonal beverage around 2010, and it eventually became part of their permanent menu — until it disappeared in 2016, that is.

In October, Timmy's surprised Canadians by bringing the beverage back for the fall before it was cruelly taken away again.

But Canadians are still hopeful.

With Tim Hortons pledging to ditch the fancy meat alternatives and return to its roots, many people are speculating that the apple cider — a clear fan favourite — might make a spectacular return.

And some Canadians have confirmed that they're willing to go bankrupt for the beverage.

While others are considering immigrating to the U.S., where Tim Hortons sells apple cider year-round.

This person even called it the "best cider" they've ever had.

Sadly, Tim Hortons said that it doesn't have any plans to bring back the iconic apple cider, but hey; you can always try the apple pie drink off their secret menu.
