Canada ranked the 6th best country in the world for dating
It's time to download Tinder again, because Canada has just been ranked the sixth best country in the world for dating, according to survey results from Millennials.
The World Dating Report 2020, which ranks countries for dating depending on the country's "friendliness, fun, sexiness, trustworthiness, and approach-ability", ranked Canada comfortably in the top 10.
Canada lost to Brazil, Italy, Spain, Australia, and New Zealand, but beat out Thailand, the Netherlands, France and Mexico — as well as 50 other countries.
The report also noted that areas like Toronto see a spike in activity on Tinder during the holiday season. Not surprising, considering that big cities in December are flooded with tourists using the app, and locals finding dates to bring to their holiday parties.
The takeaway? Canada's dating scene is like a shopping mall on Boxing Day: thriving.
