Calgary got pelted with hail this weekend, making the start to the province's summer even more unpleasant than it had already been.

Baseball-sized hail shredded the siding on houses and smashed through car windows.

Ah 2020, you're a real bitch aren't yah.

This hail storm happened in my province, and smashed up cars, houses and caused flooding in Calgary, Alberta.

Flooding on major streets stranded cars and closed down certain areas.

There were also weather-related power outages, and tornadoes were even spotted.

A mix of hail and lightning was recorded around the city.

The dumping of hail left Calgary looking more like it was the middle of January than June.
