Canadian Tire is already selling Christmas products and people aren't happy

While 2020 hasn't exactly been wonderful for the retail sector, some stores seem to really want to get the year over and done with.

Some Canadian Tire stores across the country have already rolled out their Christmas goods, even though it's still only July.

People across Canada have taken to Twitter to complain about the store selling Christmas trees, tinsel and trinkets five months early.

Some have posted photos of shelves fully stocked with festive goods.

A Canadian Tire store in Moncton revealed that they were forced to replace patio furniture with Christmas decor after the pandemic caused a surge in people purchasing outdoor items for their gardens.

"We are wiped clean when it comes to fire pits and patio furniture. Even patio umbrellas are running thin. We had no stock to put out on the floor, so we had to put something," explained a rep for the store, speaking to The Associated Press.
